progress of eradication of Phragmites in the Georgian bay area.
Phragmites is a highly
invasive plant from Eurasia that thrives in wetlands and ditches, became
a problem around 2000 and rapidly spread. Nothing can compete with it so
it takes over and can grow 10 cm a day.
