Interim control By-Law for Six Mile

During the Committee of the Whole Council meeting on September 13 2016, Councilors voted to implement an “Interim Control Bylaw” to Six Mile Lake exclusively. This by-law will hinder any development which goes beyond the present gross floor area by-laws/restrictions, which are in place according to the Six Mile Lake Official Plan and the zoning by-laws. The period would be for up to 2 years and would allow for NO minor variances to be considered during the period.

This by-law requires ratification during the October 2016 council meeting, and will be back dated . . .
