Several items have come to light regarding recent events within Council which pertain to Six Mile Lake.
As many are aware, there was an Interim Control Bylaw put in place on Six Mile Lake which was passed by Council, in spite of much opposition by members of the Six Mile Lake community. There were presentations and letters of opposition, culminating with Council's decision to restrict any variance application pertaining to Gross Floor Area on Six Mile Lake for up to 2 years (Interim Control By-Law -- aka ICBL).
